Today I did a stupid thing, I took my Mum's ATM card and lost it! So now its a real pain in the butt to get a replacement card because Mum couldn't answer the security questions over the phone... fair enough too, he did have a heavy accent. So now I have to take paper work into the branch and probably do a song and dance act, maybe show them my underwear, who knows! I avoid walking into a bank at all costs... I don't like them. So on top of being unable to paint in my studio because I'm shit and I have no talent, I am also losing my mind.... GREAT !
Since writing the above, I have been contacted by a friend who is at the NAB who is going to help me with the paper work... Hurrah !!!!
A friend sent me a message asking me to go out for her birthday dinner on Saturday night, and I was really upset that I couldn't because I had a family function on, so we organised for her to come up for a visit on Friday night... then I found out that the family day is on the Friday not the Saturday so I contacted my friend to tell her I got my days muddled up and that I can make it Saturday night, but not the Friday. So I get to go out and have fun after all...
Aaaannnnd I have a new crochet project to start today, only I cannot for the life of me, find my No.4 hook. There's a lot of Ying and Yang going on around here, with every step I take, something shoves me back, then pushes me forward. I'm not going to fight it today, I'm just going to ride it out and declare today, the 5th Day of January in the year two thousand and twelve to be a 'EAT MY SHORTS' day. Enough said!
FREAKY.... Since writing the above [again] I found my No.4 hook... OK Universe, you win. You're clever and I'm just a whinny mole. I get it.
